I honestly think infamous' missions aren't repetitive. Only a few of the side missions. The last half of the game got me so hooked I was gonna go out with my friends but instead finished it :P

Gears didn't exactly have a Shakespearean plot. The thing I love about Gears was the freakin gameplay, :)

Just beat it being Hero. The story's awesome. Now the stunts and shards and the bad thropies are all I need, maybe do em during summer (July-August). Uncharted 2 Beta is almost here :). The only problem I have with InFamous is you cant carry over your powers to a new game :(. Nothing big but that would be awesome (Like in GOW2)

Notice how games that look the best are usually exclusive and first-party studios. That's one thing I love about Sony. They keep pushing first-party development.
Ratchet is average? Are you kidding? Ratchet and Clank are amazing games all the way since PS2. But the games godofthunder listed, come on now. I know obviously every PS3 exclusive isn't gonna be amazing but this year they're been on a streak haven't they?
